EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

 Essential Qualifications & Experience
1.    Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (Cat. I) Diploma holder in Engineering    
Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be three years duration after SSC / HSC.
Should have English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
2.    Stipendiary Trainee Operator (10+2) (Cat. II)    
HSC (10+2) or ISC (with science subjects) with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually.
Should have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.
3.    Stipendiary Trainee Maintainer (ITI) (Cat. II)    
SSC (10 years) with not less than 50% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics individually and 02 years ITI Certificate in Electrician / Fitter / Electronics / Instrumentation / Machinist.
For trades for which the duration of ITI course is less than 02 years, the candidates should have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the requisite qualification.
Shall have English as one of the subject at least at SSC level examination.

Exam Stage-1st, 2nd & Skill Test

Examination Stage-1- 17/02/2021 (09:00-10:00 Hrs.)

Stage-2 - 17/02/2021 ( 15:00-17:00 Hrs.)

Stage-3 - 18/02/2021 (08:00 Hrs.)

Note:
(i) Candidates will not be allowed to enter examination in centre after 0845 Hrs. Therefore, you are advised to report
for the examination as per the schedule.
(ii) Allotment of seats in the written examination will be done on dynamic basis on the spot.
(iii) Question Paper will be provided in Hindi / English language as per option given during downloading of admit card,
except questions related to English subject.


Instructions:

1. This e-admit card issued to you for appearing in the Written Examination is solely based on the information furnished
by you in online application submitted for the aforesaid post. If at any stage of the recruitment process including
examination stage, after recruitment or joining, it is detected that the information provided by you is incorrect /
incomplete or is not in conformity with the advertised eligibility criteria, or if it is found that you have concealed /
distorted any material information, your candidature / appointment will be cancelled without assigning any reason
thereof.
2. Please bring original valid Photo ID issued by Government viz. Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card
etc.

If the eligible PWBD candidates opts for the scribe then it must be ensured that the scribe brings original valid Photo
ID issued by Government viz. Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card etc.

Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, multimedia watches,
pagers, calculator, pen scanners or any other such electronic devices are strictly not permitted inside the
premises of Examination Hall. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of Candidature.

Candidates are required to bring ball point pen with blue or black ink only and any other writing materials like
gel pen, ink pen or pencil for marking on the OMR sheet for the written examination is not permitted.

You must carefully read the instructions attached with this e-Admit Card and shall keep a copy for your reference.

NPCIL reserves the right to postpone / cancel this Written Examination or alter the date / time / venue of the Written
Examination; if need so arises.

SELECTION PROCESS

Written Examination

Written test will comprise of 200 Multiple Choice questions (choice of 04 answers) of 03 hours duration consisting of English, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and respective Discipline.
Qualifying standards:
General Category (UR) – 40% marks
SC / ST / OBC category – 30% marks

Personal Interview

Candidates qualifying the written test will be called for Personal Interview.
(The number of candidates shortlisted for Interview will be depending upon the number of candidates qualifying in the written test and number of vacancies)
